Unlike most fish on this site, these species are generally hardy and forgiving of minor beginner mistakes.
🔰Care Notes:
• Always buy captive bred fish. They are more hardy and take to tank life well.
• Marbled Hatchetfish, Forktail Blue-eye & Clown Killifish need a lid to prevent jumping🦘.
• Panda Garra needs some hi-flow water movement and to should be added last after algae & biofilm have grown over the tank a few months.
• Kuhli Loaches need sand and it's suggested a lid in case they wiggle out of the tank.
• Corydoras need sand and will occasionally "run" up to top of tank to gulp air-this is normal.
• Bristlenoses need wood to digest property and can be territorial if too crowded in the lower part of tank.
• For Bettas more than 1 male should never be housed in the same tank. Also they may jump🦘- lid suggested.
• Zebra & Glowlight Danios zip around the tank with noticeably more gusto than most other fish- highly active fish.💨Glowlight Danios may jump🦘- lid suggested.
